About Spotted this little scene as we drove away from Milton Abbey on Tuesday afternoon. What a great place!! You guys are right ~ I'm blessed to live in a very beautiful part of the world!! Mind you, it's taken having a camera in front of my face to realise it and really appreciate it!!

For those of you who have been kind enough to follow 'R's progress, I can tell you that his name is Roland and he is facing surgery tomorrow (Friday, 8th October), to remove one or more tumours from his brain! If the operation goes well, he should be home within about a week!! He'll then await results of tests which will show whether the tumours are benign or malignant. Once again, I can't tell you how much I appreciate your thoughts and prayers for him and his family.

This image of peace and tranquility is affectionately dedicated to them.

Best regards to all,

Chris

Lovely, lush and calming atmosphere, Chris. Nice scenery, and well captured in essence. Maybe it could use a more obvious and specific primary subject / eyecatcher; eventhough it's a nice scene, the image doesn't quite manages to grab my attention very long....

Cheers,

Hugo

this is my kind of photo! the detail is so wonderfull. the light dappling the ground really sets the mood. It is unfortunate but being on the dialup line i can't see to many photos, just the thumbnail page takes close to 3-4mins to load never mind one larger image. :(
Thanks for your support as it means alot coming from a photographer such as yourself. i respect you and excellent photos. it is always a pleasure to hear from you.
warm regards Tim

Beautiful image, Chris, I like the greens and the way the sunlight is filtering down through the trees. I know what you mean about it taking the camera to help you really see your world.
Dave.

Wow, Chris, heavy stuff for your friend, Roland.
My prayers will be for wisdom for the doctor, and speedy recovery for him, and that there will be no malignant tumors.

Your image is wonderful as usual,
Keep them coming (you will!!)
Lori :)
