About
It already stands for a long time in my bio, I'am trying some IR photography. Well today I'll share my first findings. It has been very difficult to reach the print. I had to get a red filter first and that took half a year to arrive all the way from a German factory. All that time the film had been waiting, so the quality of the film wasn't to good anymore. But now I finally have the first prints, self made so I would be able to make some corrections. I found it very hard to reach a kind of acceptable print. But this is the result, tell me what you think. Greets Tim.
very cool shot. i've never tried any IR but i've been toying with the idea. great composition. regarding a comment you made on one of my shots, yes it is great shooting a model who knows what they're doing. Richard Avedon and Greg Gorman are my two favorite photogs and shooting in the studio is a rush for me. i was supposed to visit amsterdam last week but the person i was travelling with had to cancel and the trip fell apart.
Hi Tim, Nice experiment. I've never tried tIR photography, so I can't really comment anything useful, but I do appreciate your quest to push the envelope! Good job, keep it up!
Well the negative had strange looking dark spots at the edges, that normally don't get any light. I'am afraid the film has been near a heat source or something.
Great job! Ir is difficult to shoot! I'd say that for your first attempt you've done amazingly well. We used to mess with Ir a lot in school...and trust me, they NEVER turned out this well!
