Sorry about the misleading information, no this was not shot with the 10.5. I was in a hurry to post and did not pay attention to the specs. This was shot using a 28-85 probably set to 85. As for the conversion it is nothing more than channel mixer, Hue/saturation set to colorize, and levels. I wish i could tell you the specific settings but unfortunately each photo requires different adjustments. I try to keep the toning to a minimal level of saturation. I vary the toning and the contrast to give it the different tones you see in my portraits. Hope this helps. Thanks for the comments.

I am surprise to see that the Nikon 10.5 can be used as a 'portrait lens'. I just purchased the 60 micro to test with portraits. I am still impressed with the BW conversion...
