What a creative concept! Very nicely done, Peter!

The only suggestion I would make (and it's a nitpick) would be to use a consistent background to lead the conclusion of the viewer that it's the same flower. Even if you have to clothespin a solid sheet onto a line behind the flower.

It is amazing how fast they can change. I like the image on the left but the one on the right has a definite blue cast which is no doubt caused from the lighting. Very nice. Don.
