Very nice composition, I like the color of the sky a lot, very well done. Big contrast with the red fire fountain and the bails, good choice!
Best regards
Guy

Beautiful natural setting, with such an unusual abstract slant to it, Rebecca! You have great vision to catch the beauty and irony, here. Wonderful work! ...Brad

I guess it's pretty handy if one of those rolls of hay catch fire, not to mention being handy for the farmer's dog.

Very nicely done, Is that hydrant really in an open field or were you standing on the edge of civilization shooting out toward the open country. I love the contrast of the hydrant and the rural landscape. Del

Good composition, Rebecca! I like the contrasting colours, as well as the contrast of ideas between the pastoral setting and something that is so urban. Well done!
Dave.

I love photos of the incongruous like this! The fire hydrant stands out like a sore thumb in such a pastoral setting - it's sad to think that Neal is probably right on the money and this beautiful area will probably soon be renamed "Bedford Pointe" or something!
I think I would exploit the unexpected appearance of the fire plug by brightning it up a little (along with the greens), but that's just a different take on a cool image!

Oooh these colours are vibrant and alive. Luxuriant green field with a gorgeous baby blue sky with gently rolling fluffers. Three perfectly placed bales of hay and a bright red focal point. I don't think I have ever seen a fire hydrant plunked in the middle of a field. Great capture.

When you see these things in a field, can the subdivision be far away? Maybe next year there will be rows and rows of indentical "luxury townhomes" here.

Good that its red... otherwise the farmer would have runned over it with his tractor! hehe. Great and different composition. This is not you see everyday.. =) Great depth asswell! Love the beutiful colors here... the difference between them and how my eye goes directly to the red.

Very good light asswell! =)

Cheers!
