Bello el contraste entre el verde y el fondo negro, sumado a la transparencia y esbelta figura del insecto!

Hi Dan,
Excellent picture again. I think that drops located on the top rigth of the leaf do look added. The outline is too obvious and they may be too big (scalewise). Excellent, for the other drops. How did you do it? I would love to know. Thanks.

I have to grudginly admit that this is for me one area where digital does score, macro. Yes the drops are quite convincing!! would love to know the technique!

I think the drops look decent, but before reading your "about" text I felt they were not natural. They seemed to defy gravity to me in their placement. Other than that the way they look is very real particularly how they reflect the light. They are also far too symmetrical for that leaves texture. Tough not to nit, but I know you ultimately want to improve. The macro of the dragon fly is incredible. I don't think any water is needed (real or PS'd).

Great image, tack sharp. The droplets look real, but I am not a big fan of PS to the point of editing in components.

I'm sorry Dan I have to disagree with your about. I think you have this down to a fine art - I actually believed the water drops were genuine !
The composition is excellent and both the colours and detail of the fly are super :-)
Best wishes, Steve

nice to fabricate in ps. bottom grey edges of drops make them look like magnifying glasses, especially on the big one. smaller drops look better.

Beautiful macro Dan. The sharpness and clarity are great and the details in the damselfly are wonderful. The water droplets add to the scene, but seem to float a little above the leaf, so youv'e got to do some extra work on it. I would love to learn this technigue myself. Is there a possebility you send me the article as PDF by e-mail. I would appreciate that very much. Thanks in advance Dan....Best regards, Harry

I think you've done a great job,Dan. Unfortunately I cannot do any tricks in PS apart from " developing " the photos, but is seems very nice to me. Antonella

Awesome macro irrespective of the artifical drops...the sharpness is stunning...the drops look real at the first glimpse, but like u/others pointed out, need some more work, the outline needs to be more translucent, the light source reflection doesnt look to be in the same direction as well in all drops....but all said and done, an absolutely beautiful picture.

Wow! Great macro! Nice detail on the dragonfly. The drops fooled me for a second, but then I took a closer look and realized they weren't real. The outline on the bottom of each drop is a little too opaque I think.

Great shot Dan, I thought that the drops were real until you pointed them out.
