The grain is just perfect. Look at him there, just waiting to pick our bones. (shudder)

You are from this moment on to be known as simply,"POE" (reference to your poe-try as well ;>)...love the hawk and the simple silhouetted branches against a dark, grainy sky..very well composed,lady!..(trying to catch up as haven't been on much due to my son's BD and online connection probs...forgive my tardiness ;>)~gayle

No Del, you don't have to. ANd it wasn't a crow. The original picture was taken on a cloudy, gray day, and everything just looked gray. And it was a hawk, not a crow lol.. Have anything nice to say about a hawk? :)

I love the detail of the branches while playing down the detail of the crow, makes a wonderful photo, but Rebecca, it is so hard for me to say anything nice about the crows after what they do each year to my garden, do I have to? Del.

A very moody shot, Rebecca! The b/w and grain work exellently here to create a mood. Well done!

Ominous. The grainy texture makes this appear to be an extremely detailed silhouette on a stone wall or even an intricate etching with the rough edges.

What a nice pose he has.. he looks mean!! At once when i see this picture my fantasty and imagination starts.. i could base a little story on this photo alone. Love these photos that draws me away from the dull ordinary world that we live in and into a land of fantasy. =)

Very good composition. Only the bird and the tree and then the sky in the background.. simple and works great! Very good light asswell and the grain effects works superb!

Cheers my friend!! a 7+ from me

Regards,

Patrick J
