a very moving image - i see two messages in the photo:

the numbers on the wall "counting down" the days....

the black horizontal line separating the "dark" world from the "light" above and a possible brighter future??

very very moving...

very emotional .... strong messaging... and i agree with richard...you should write a journal or write more about each photograph and your experience or sentiment at that time.

A very moving, powerful & thought provoking shot here Kim. Reminds me well of the "services" I've done when i was still with the Legion of Mary. No words are fit to utter to describe more of this image. More power & God bless! - joey

Extremely nice doccumentary for these patients. Sad, it's very difficult to feal like your dying and waiting for that moment, and that you don't have hope in cure or living. Ofcourse one should have hope in God, and that health is from the Lord, and no man can give you health against the Lord's will.
I like the "about" : the last supper, you may give it this title, it's very descriptive, nice work Kim...best regards...Khaled.

I like the kind of work you do. This photograph could have been opened by a stop perhaps? Or is it dark just because of the scan? But very well composed. And thank you for your comments on my photograph titled "The Ploughing Season". Best Regards.

wow... a powerful feeling from this shot.... but consider this compo... crop out the top down to the rail around the wall... i think if forces more focus on the men and their action

Another strong and very emotional image.
This reminds me of something I have always
asked...'why don't the more prosperous countries
do MORE to help those in need'?

This is a very powerful, yet very sad picture thinking that some of these people will not be in your future photos. Great perspective and great backlighting, which highlights them yet keeps their anonymity. Alison

Powerful and evocative, Kim. You are not using your Leicas for these shots? Maybe the AF feature is better for limited time.

I would like to hear more about your work and the places you go. Maybe you should write a journal!
