About One of the great old Mosques in Cairo; the Refai Mosque; as seen from Sultan Salah El-Din Fortress (the hero of the Crusades who was born in Iraq).
El-Refai Mosque is located at "El-Khalifa" in the old Cairo city and contains the tombs of the late kings of Sultan Mohamed Ali's family and the tomb of the last "Shah" of the Persian Empire.

very creative ya Khaled.. from the photography view and from the archaeology view as well.. i've seen alot of pics for that mosque.. but never that way..
great shot.

I took this shot through a crack in the wall of the fortress designed to be used by the soldiers to shoot the enemies through.
