About Next time a sunrise steals your breath or a meadow of flowers leave you speechless, remain that way. Say nothing, and listen as heaven whispers, "Do you like it? I did it just for you"

The mood in your "A quiet afternoon" is indeed a quiet one, Alison. The water is quiet, there nobody around or on the bridge, the green of the trees adds to this mood and the flowers are like pinpoints of reddish violet.
Thanks for your comment on my "Green leaves"
Regards,
Rafi

Absolutely perfect, and the little quote just tops it off. I'm just going to linger here for a while, if you don't mind.

Very nice composition, Alison, I like the way you have the branches in the foreground to give the image depth.
