I think you didn't take the photo at the best light possible. As the tower is in the shadow, exposing it correctly means an overexposed sky. Also, I guess that at the right time of the day the sunlight probably would make the tower much more tree-dimensional, as it looks a little flat in the upper half of the image. Also, the little piece of rock on the bottom right is a bit distracting.

Another beautiful shot. The hazy sunlit city in the background contrasted with the cool blue shadow on the street. The green trees contrasted with the bricks of the tower. A great composition

Great composition, and the colors are gorgeous.
The sky is blown out, though. I suppose a polarizing filter would have helped, but I have never really used filters very much. Does ANYONE have a recommendation? I would like to know.

Great angle and cityscape.. Lovley job of incorporating the old architecture with the new. A shame the sky could not have had a little color.
