I feel like I'm there! And I'm pulling for the underpig in last place. Go! Go! Go!

fantastic image -- the composition is so perfect -- you can hear the pigs sqealing and feel the rush of their pudgy bodies "flying by" excellent. By the way I think leaving the out of focus person on the left is brilliant.K

Pig races... It's where the action is!
Ron, I think you've framed this beautifully. You have the neat lines of the white fence and the flags "blowing" in the wind of the racing pigs, but really this is about the spectators. The glee on the faces of the fans as they follow the little porkers around the track. Who follows pig races for crying out loud? "You can't tell the pigs without a program"? No, this in no organized race of champions. It's pure fun, mostly for the children but always to the amusement of all. There isn't an unhappy face in this entire crowd. Everyone is having a good time, and you just happened to include the little piglets to give the viewer an understanding of the smiles.
Once again, I stand in awe of one of your photos. Had I been in this situation, I'd have a photo of the winner crossing the finish line and I'd believe I'd done something grand. You took a photo of what's important.
PS: how do you like the DigiRebel? I've paid off my car and I'm thinking of putting that monthly money commitment to going dSLR.

Very, very funny. I?d like you have taken it a little bit closer of the fence, so I could see the pigs better.

Hell, is this real? Nevermind, a real "olympic" spirit is bursting. Regards, and - great capture.
