I think it's wonderfull...the sharpness is increditable!!! I'm not good at making my photos sharp..so I have to ruin them in PS.. ;-)
I also like..that you have NOT cropped it...I mean..that you still see the wrinckled day-lily from yesterday!! ;-) That's great..and turn your photo into something special... and NOT just a daylily...ok???

Normale mense slaap wanneer jy nog voor die komper sit en poeding eet! Pragtige foto ... komposisie is baie goed en ek hou van die donker, intense kleure. Wonderlike DVV en soos gewoonlik, baie elegante en toepaslike raam.

PS : Now if you really want to know just what the heck I wrote, you will have to go shoot a PINK PINK PINK flower and dedicate it to me! Yes, and in your "about" you will have to tell the whole world just what a fabulous and budding photographer I am, and that I deserve a bigger and better camera. Not a D70 because you know it is out of the question ... but definitely something better than my curent little toy Oh ... and of course, my comment on your image is in Afrikaans, one of our eleven official languages in South Africa!

I Love this on the composition works very well as does the DOF focus on the flower. The complimentary colors in this photo really make this one jump out of the screen.

Well, I'm not big on florals really, but this looks very nice. Sharp where it counts with an excellent background blur.
And to answer your question, yes I'd love to meet up with other UF members. Midlands sounds fine to me.

Geezzz Chris, this is one fantastic photograph! I'm getting very jealous of that camera of yours, in fact I'm now drooling, this is BAD!!! I've already warned my husband. I'm used to good optics, when I had my business I used only Hassleblad...after I sold, I just kept a 35mm (film), haven't used it onec. Got the digital and NEVER thought I'd want anything better than my G2...........WRONG.
Sorry, back to your image. It's quality is superb, lighting also is superb...what more to say, oh yes, it looks 3D! I'm going to make it a favorite!

Well, it's now 12:46, I've caught up on all my friends' wonderful pictures and not a single, solitary person, (or even a married, one-of-a-crowd person!!), has even looked at this one! (Sob!! Lonely tear drop falls into cold chocolate! "Hang on, I'll get my camera!!")
So I'm going to bed to dream of Schummian mountains, Bowdenian flies, Rakocevician bubbles and Losekian lilies!!
