Exciting stop action! How would it be to take the photo as a vertical? Perhaps the boy near the top or the frame and showing more under him and his eventual destination.

Ouch! I can almost feel the impact as he hits the water... Great "blur" photograph! Did you use the "continuour" mode of the D70 to follow him down into the water? And get the splash?

Hi Antonella, i was trying this very same thing myself two days ago and appreciate just how difficult this is. It is very hard to get everything right, panning, shutter, framing, light and the "action pose". Here you have done a very good job of combing all these elements.
