About This window is of a different style and vintage than the other ones. I found it in a little country church just outside of town.

Nice shot, it can be hard to take good shots of stained glass, good colour and sharpness. Thanks for your comments.

Hi Armando,
Thanks for your comment on the Saint of musicians.
The instrument that is depicted in the window is actually a set of organ pipes. Although she was associated with music before 1585 her place as patroness of music was secured when the conservatory of music in Rome was established in the above year. She has over the years been shown with various instruments but the organ is the most regular one.
As far as the zampoņa, that the child is wearing is concerned I think, (in my own simplistic way), that the oprgan is just a very complicated version of that instrument:)

Excellent pic of a beautiful vitral, I had never seen that saint of the musicians, but I have noticed that the instrument that has in its hands is similar to a Peruvian instrument called zampoņa, here i attach you a picture of the instrument that I found in GOOGLE.

Thank you for your comments Joska. I find stained glass hard to do but sometimes they work out fairly well.

Nicely done, Evan! I agree, the texture and colors are magnificent and jump out of the picture.
Cheers
