I am SO tired of the old black velvet :-( Yes, it gives great results as it sets off detail very well ... but a girl can only do so many images with it and then she needs a change!
I like the background effect from the connifers. Depending on the time of day, I get various "effects" as and when the sunlight filters through.
But yikes! ... it was cold out there this morning!

You've captured the light beautifully on these exquisite fresias ~ pity I haven't got smello-vision yet!! But no doubt Apple are working on it!!

I really like your lighting. It comes from each side and creates nice highlights on each side of the stem and blooms. Great background. Wish you had some of our heat. It must be 95 degrees and at least 90% humidity. Just stand and sweat. Don.
