Excellent, distinctive work, Luis. I couldn't disagree more with the complaint that the grain is "not realistic". So much the better! Must photography only be about realism? This image is imaginative, creative, and distinctive, and is that not what we all strive for? Here is photography as art, not documentation. Bravo.

Thank you for going trough my porfolio Ian. As far as the noise I got to tell you that the original was nice and sharp but I liked it better with grain but i do understand people not feeling the same (different stokes).St Onan...? You must have some characters for politicians to come up with such a saintly name. See you around Ian.

Perhaps the bird is about to drop a comment on the politicians too.
I love the ideas and absolutely seared contrasts here.
I note some controversy in the critiques about the noises here. In a way I think they help get the message across to me. The pixelation is quite harmonious in the clouds and really hot around the flags which for me underscores the starkness of this non-circus. (One of my country men, John Clarke, describes such gatherings as "the festival of St Onan by the way, that'd be an interesting title too)
If it's an accident, the noise,though, I'm sure you can find a way around it.

like the about and agree about the "facility workers"..wouldn't that be a hoot!...there is some noise in clouds, but otherwise a very good,high-contrast image..the way you composed is superb and i like the bird soaring above it all..gayle (congrats for front page award!)
