About I like how the setting sun reflected in the windows of this derelict beach side cottage gives an allusion of habitation.

Nice seeing and nice shot Micky. I'd have clicked the shutter too. That is excellent lighting of the windows.

Thanks for your kind comments on my "Hairy Bud" photo. It was taken at our local botanical garden and they have many exotic specis there, but don't provide names for all of them. I agree though, it may be some species or variety of anemone. Cheers. Craig

Thankyou Linn for your kind words and comprehensive comment, yes I am 70,my body sure tells me I am,but I try to keep the old brain ticking along.Ilike a challenge and push my self to the limit.Photography keeps me young and I have met so many lovely people since taking it up seriously eight years ago and now I have a heap of lovely Use Film friends as well:)
Better get off to bed it is 11.15pm and the old boy gets a cranky if I sit up too late.
Fond Regards Micky.

Micky, I would never have thought it was the sun's reflection! It truly looks as if the house is lit up by electricity. Incredible work in this image - the water surface is like a mirror - stunning reflection. Fabulous silhouette of the tree. I like how the image is divided in three ... the reflection, the "dead" beach and sandbank; and then the lit up house and sky. I also like the crisp feel of the image.

Fabulous work and you should be proud of this one too!

Linn
PS : I read one of your comments to (I think) Chris Spracklen wherein you mentioned your age. There is NO way you could be 70!! Absolutely no way! If it is true, then you are a very young 70 because you have a tremendous eye for capturing beauty! :-))

Very nice exposure on this reflection shot. Reminds me a bit of Maxfield Parrish.

Superb reflection, Micky, and a gorgeous orange glow from the sun's reflection on the little house.
Kind regards, Chris
