About ...That's the color if you were to buy nail polish that matches this beauty. We know this because Shawn asked.

This is the "Mirage" that took best in show at the Ramona Air Show. Again I wanted to do something different, this time the owner was in the shot so I wanted him to Stand out along with his ride.

I used Digital Image pro to mask the car, shadows and owner. I applied Emphasis > Photocopy to the back layer for that comic book effect.

Handheld, shutter 1/200 sec., Aperture F/8

That's correct, I use Microsoft Digital Image Pro 9. It is very user friendly. Anyone can use it right out of the box and start doing basic to intermediate post work. Once you use it a bit one can go completly nuts with it. It doesn't have curves like PS, but uses histograms for doing levels. Hue/Staturation, remove blemish, dodge/burn and tons of filters are all there. My wife started using it and was doing intermediate edits in just a couple of hours.

Excellent work here Andy. Very interesting how you redid this in post editing. Nicely done!
Bill

Andy that is totally amazing work. The colour and finish on the car is incredible !
But I must agree with Christine, I would never wear that colour nail varnish either

Although I would never wear that colour on my nails, on the car it certainly is stand-out. The vibrancy and sheen you have captured are amazing. The background is truly a work of art.

Great shot of an unusual car, Andy! Guess no one else likes cars here! And a great colour, too!
Dave.
