This is beautiful, Jim. The color and composition are a true lesson for a novice like me.

Jim, thanks for the information. You make a good point. My 35 mm film camera is a Nikon FM bought in 1979, just before I graduated from seminary; still works fine. It's fun to have both. Thanks for writing back. Rodney

Morning Jim :-)
There are a couple of UF members that should have a rubber stamp that says "Well done!" as they persistently deliver excellent work. You seem to be one of those that I need to have a stamp made up for :-))

Excellent image - the silhouettes and almost neon glow are captured to perfection.

Well done. :-))

No I have had a canon for several years, first the s110, then the G2, then the Pro1. I really like the file as it comes right out of the canon. But there are other issues and I had Nikon Lens's when I switched to digital. So my Little cameras ( handy and always with me) are canons. Antthing i would say beyond that becomes a Nikon Vs Canon thing of which I have no part. I also vote a split ticket. I have actually been accused of thinking ;-).
The comment only I just started. I have been on a couple other sites and really don't see the value since we are all here to learn and have fun. Thanks to another member I was directed to the page where you describe your photo. there is a box under the word ADULT that you can check to switch off ratings. Just my preference.

Jim, the colors, the light and the reflection of the water help capture the mood. Really well done. (Is this the first Canon camera that you've used? I remember mostly seeing Nikon with your photos) I noticed the expression 'Critique Only'under the photo. I'm not familiar with that phrase and what it means here on Usefilm, could you explain? Thanks, Rodney

Nice shot Jim, the outline against the sky is a nice contrast to the wavy reflections of the sky. Great job,

Chris
