Wow, you used a dial-up connection? I should have given you the URL/number. Next time I will. Glad you liked it! I thought it was quite funny... (you know the story of Daddy Longlegs, I expect?)

Hi Roger, I finally found it!!! using a phone modem doesn't help much locating this photo from years way back.... : ) Yes I like this photo, worth locating it, I am amazed by the very long shadow you captured here from the land of the rising sun. While searching for this particular photo, i came across to alot of your photo you've posted here at usefilm, you have a great variety of shot, very interesting how you have documented everyday scenes in your enviroment. I see your passion for photography is really very great. Nice getting to know you and I appreciate you putting me as your associates in UF... best regards...

Well seen Roger and very well realized too. You couldn't have done this w/ a regular format camera. Composition is excellent. Cheers. Craig

Hi Roger, I like your panoramic shots. It clearly shows a different approach to composition. Your comment to one of my photos a while ago made me think about them more seriously. Inspiring thought. Good use of shadows and subjects. Classic pose too! Thanks for sharing, this one is refreshingly clever, and some new ideas using panoramc formats are beginning to grow....;o) Thanks!
Cheers,
Hugo

Look awkward, Rob? I thought I looked like the millionnaire who got to marry the pretty girl in the end. Actually I was hoping I might get an off-beat "Best in Contest" for this one. Ha ha, some hope! Did you know that in Japan they call short-legged Shetland Sheepdogs "Japanese Collies"? This is because the Japanese consider themselves to have shorter legs and longer bodies than Westerners. It's the sort of wry, self-deprecating joke that the English are supposed to be good at!
