Hi Linn,I love the crisp clean look to the image,quite like the mono tone as well but colour is always tops for me.You are getting your moneys worth out of your black velvet!the drop shadow works well.In all a beautiful floral portrait and it is into my favourites.

Your version looks fabulous Chris! I had a quick look at mine and removed the grain filter and tweaked the contrast a bit. Definitely an improvement!
I want to try this on an image where I don't have such a vibrant and bright green stem.

I've had a go at this one, but I'm no expert!
I used Photoshop's 'colorize' option in the hue and saturation box. I punched in values of 40/25/0 and then bent the curve a little to bring out the white a touch.
Hope this helps a little.
