Great shot too Michael. The angle I took is very common (as I mention in 'About' section), but I couldn't resist it. I didn't cropped at all, I just texturized it to make it look older. Thanks for your comment!

Hi Michael, Love the simplicity of this composition. Classic shot. I think the composition could've been slightly more balanced if the shadowy curve on top would've been completely included in the frame. Other than that a very good shot. Great work!

Ich danke Ihnen für Ihre Aussage. Dieses Bild gefällt mir nicht besonders viel aber der Motiv ist schon sehr fortgraphiert worden. Ich war in Juli 2002 dort und es war ein sehr beleuchteter Tag. Deswegen waren meine Bilder von darin nicht so gut. Die Nebeneinanderstellung mit der runden Bögen nimmt bestimmt ein bisschen vom Bild weg.

Ja, das Motiv kenne ich doch irgendwo her ;-)

Sehr schön Variante mit dem Schriftzug und der Farbe. So was Ähnliches wollte ich auch noch machen. Etwas "schwierig" finde ich die angeschnittenen runden Bögen oben...
Was mich etwas wundert: Bei mir sieht die Farbe total abgeblättert aus. Meine Fotos sind von Oktober 2003, wann warst Du da?

yes this is a very famous subject attracting dozens of photographer all over the world; this is nice too indeed; the geometric feel in the font of the writing at the base of the shot couple very well with the abstract mood of all the shot and architecture of the place
