Your "about" cracks me up on this..."as have no abilities.." lol. I guess someone thinks you do. Me! And of course, many others. This is a beauty. I love the piercing light rays mirroring the blades of the windmill. Congrats on the award! T.

Fantastic idea and composition. Sky is a bit noisy, some PC work would be apreciated. I would also try to do some color balance. Anyway, pleasure to look at it.

To Charles Z:
The capture is essentially untouched save for crop etc... the star was but the creation of a simple lens... Thank you for passing by!

I like the way how the wings of the windmill, and the beams of light arising from the sun fit together. Good work!

woooooowwwwww!
listening the communication between sun and wheel
(fav)
my next trip to Finland will be in September, perhaps I can stay again over the weekend, enjoying the country, not only business!
Cheers, Verena
PS: Some stamp work would be nice, e.g. a white point in the back of the wheel.

Futuristica; ocultou o ser humano e mostrou um grande espaço e luz, realçado pelo efeito estrela.

For Elisa Svensson: who may be a SwedeFinn or a Swede or really a Finn... There is no question... SF is special... and from Helsinki travel nearly due west... follow the sun... and in the apparent neighbourhood of one to whom this is in part dedicated... you will arrive at the point where all goes west...

Beautiful! One item of note would be the crop or use of a landscape format has diminished the ability to relay the height of the windmill. I wonder if this might have worked more effectively in a portrait format capturing more of the windmills poll to give it greater height and reach to the sun.
