arrivo con un anno di ritardo a commentare questa fantastica foto (meglio tardi che mai ;) ).
trovo che sia perfetta. soprattutto il bianco e nero, è davvero tridimensionale!!
prima di conoscere usefilm pensavo che fotografare fiori fosse una cosa noiosa e piatta, ma qui... qui mi hanno fatto cambiare idea in tanti!
ancora complimenti per l'ottimo lavoro.

Questa è una scannerizzata da carta fatta pure male. L'originale 40x40 è veramente da urlo, penso sia in assoluto il mio miglior negativo!

...non dovevi mettermi 'sta pulce nell'orecchio del pirogallico ;-) in attesa del tentativo ho trovata questa....beh il tuo pregresso su UF non l'ho mai spluciato bene...stupenda!! cosi forte la resa tonale diversa che si legge chiaramente anche a video perdipiù lcd...un dettaglio ed un cambio tonale che mi lascia basito...detto senza banali piaggerie....stasera mi splucio un po di teoria su 'sto pirogallico....e poi dritte buone dà te !!

This is really excellent! The grain and contrast is really great and the structure of the flowers almost makes them look like I could reach out and touch them!

PMK is a great development based on Pyrogallic acid also used by Ansel Adams in the ABC formulae. PMK is a variance of this ABC that use less Pyro than ABC, metol and Kodalk. The quality ofthe film is great beacuse few grain and a wonderful separation of the black and white when they are close (acutance). The only problem is that Pyrogallic acid is ...a very dangerous poisson (it can be also absorbed by the skin... gloves are mandatory)!
The deepth of the tones are due for big part by the developer and then from the Selenium toning.
I printed it also in 50x50cm and the quality is still incredible!
I don't know if you can feel but I'm very proud for this picture ;-)

This is really something extra. Not knowing to much about developing techniques, i guess it is your choise og PMK Formual that has created this "colour range". The colour depth is wonderfull. Beautifull in all Gino. Goes to my favorites :)
