About This was taken at the Jacques Cartier National Parl in Quebec, Canada.
I know it is dark in the upper right corner but it was a difficult day to expose for. Large darker clouds kept casting shadows on the mountains. I still think it worked pretty good and the overcast day permitted me to get all that details in the foreground rocks which I would of lost on a sunny day with Bright and shadowed areas.

THank you all for all your great comments
to answer your question Ed... No really I always kept a pretty long exposure to make sure I was gonna acheive the blurring effect. Thanks again

Pat,

This is a masterpiece! I just love the richness of the colors, and emphasis on the rocks in front. The different shades of green on the river banks and up the mountainside add dimension and interest. I'm in awe.

Regards,
Anne

Pat,
This is a trully beautiful landscape.I like the way you have gone down to the level of the water and made a feature of the rocks. The slow shutter speed has rendered the flowing water just perfectly.Well done.

Stunning, the dark upper right doesn't look too bad, it adds to the atmosphere and the mood of the place. Well done.

Looks great! It's OK that it's dark up above, it adds mood, makes it not just a "plain vanilla" landscape. Who needs a sunny day?
