About You have been the treasure in my hand. You have been the one who always stood beside me. So unaware, I foolishly believed that you would always be there. But then there will come a day, when I will turn my head and you will slip away.

Beautifully composed, with nice colours.. But why does it look a bit shaky?
And I agree with Elisa, It would look even nicer if the ground was darker.. :)

Well, I am usually without my tripod as well... One thing you can try when your stuck without a tripod is to change the ISO. At 400, you may have been able to hand hold the camera and not get too much noise. Just experiment and take a few photos at different ISO settings and see how the images come out and how much noise you get. A pro told me that he uses a tripod with a telephoto even in the brightest conditions due to movement and vibrations. (well.. he is a pro :) ) Even the mirror can cause vibrations as it flips up to take the photo (that is the sound you hear when you take the photo.) The 300D does not have the ability to "lock up" the mirror. Both the 300D and 10D takes pretty good photos at higher ISOs without a lot of digital noise. I am not sure what the exposure compensation is for the 300D but you can try experimenting with that in both low and bright light conditions... See, a tripod is so much easier :)

One definitely won't run out of photo opportunities in sunset fields, this one of great composition, needs small correction and that's mentioned in, Pual's Phots comments, if you have reduction filter try it next time, excellent, Saeed

Hello Paul... well, again I did not use tripod i should start using it. Yes I was trying to adjust the foucs by focusing on the tree, this is all what I got. The ISO speed 100, Shutter speed 1/400 and the AV is 7.1.

Thanks for the comment...if you have any tips regarding the sittings i used please let me know.

excellent mood.. nicely composed.. it was worth the wait for the sun...great capture

But, if you have time, I think you should try a tripod once..the image is little bit blurry and I think a tripod would bring the branches more into focus at low light especially if you were zooming in at 300mm. Not sure how "fast" your lens is but I imagine that it is slow at the higher focal length. Were you focusing on the tree?

Also, what was the ISO set at?..higher will let you focus better but will create more noise. Ok.. enough of my commenting.. :)

Again.. great sunset

Great shot, even if I'ld like to see with more sharp. The composizion is absolutly fantastic because it looks like that the tree has the sun on a hand/brench.

Many thanks dear Arwa, it is not luck ;-) I live 3 minutes from this place, I go there with my brother from time to time. Yes, I waited for the sun till it reached this position.

Poetic work Amna! A little bit less of the dark part at the bottom, perhaps?
