WOW...Paolo, this should be holding a 7+...it's beautiful. Love the various shades of mountains, and how the water sparkles!! Just the right amount of rim lighting on the man in the boat to seperate his head from the mountain, yet the horizon is not going through the center of his head. Lots of good pluses in this one!

Nicely seen and expertly captured!
Lori :)

Ciao...Walter

Hi Paolo, Love this shot. The low view point as well as the rich contrasts create a very strong image. I find this shot absolutely fantastic. The different levels of grey created by the hazy background add a very mystical image. Outright beautiful! Very well captured!

Cheers,

Hugo

Semplicemente incantevole.

Ciao.

Many thanks, Luis! Much apreciated.
It's a view from the Lake of Como, an Italy northern lake not far from Milan (1 hour by car).
Cheers, Paolo

Very good B&W. The greyshades of the mountains are really eyecatching! Also de radiance on the waterbubbles is great.
Wonderful composition!

I'm a fisherman's son got fisherman's ways
I fished with my father in my young days
I learned the fine craft of the fisherman's trade
Just to pass to my son so he'll do the same

The sea is my lifeline the shore is my home
I've been to your cities I didn't stay long
I stared at the bright lights the dark city ways
I'll tell you that's not for me, no I didn't stay

Some days are rough so we roll with the waves
This living is tough, slack is the pay
But we leave with the sunrise, we wake at the dawn
Singing the fisherman's song

I'm a fisherman's son got fisherman's blood
Just hauling the lobster, jigging the cod
And if you don't like me then leave me alone
And I'll go on singing my fisherman's song

I'm a fisherman's son got fisherman's ways
I fished with my father in my young days
I learned the fine craft of the fisherman's trade
Just to pass to my son so he'll do the same
