Danny,
I think it would have been fine either way: with the life jacket or with the birds.
I don't think having both works, because they compete for attention, but there's no relationship between them.
BTW, I forgot to say it is a lovely and tranquil scene, with a nice complimentary sky and reflections.
Regards, Angelo.

ngelo Thank you for your comment.Ido appreciate honest appraisals of my work. I am afraid you are too good for me. Yes the birds came from elsewhere. only one in fact but copied and resized.I rather like the splash of red from the lifejacket but quite see your point .Thank you.

Danny, please correct me if I am making a mistake, but it looks very much like these birds were edited in from anoter image.
That's all well and cool and I am not opposed to a bit of montage, but if you did that, why not get rid of that distracting red thing in the background?

Hi Danny,
It's great to see a picture from the North East of England at last. A superb shot Danny, weel executed and the birds just make it even greater. Well done!!.

Excellent. What a capture - with the two cute little birds perfectly positioned in a great background. One has to be lucky to come accross such a scene and should be quick enough to capture it. Very well done.
