Yes, this has a lot of (latent) energy although it is not directly visible (which I find interesting). Still, seeing a little more of Lex' eyes would have been nice IMHO.

Hi Tim, Eerlijk gezegd denk ik niet dat je nog veel van haar zal leren... ;o) Super foto! Hoe is het met Lex? Al een tijdje niets van hem gehoord... Ik vind het kader zeer goed passen bij het geheel, maar had naar mijn smaak een tikkeltje dunner gekunt. Goede "tonal range", en een uitstekende compositie! Klasse!

How lovely! You captured this boy in a beautiful and rather unusual expression on his face and eyes. A funny expression. Maybe he is a little shy in front of a camera and tried to disguise his shyness by making fanny faces. Right? Anyway, I like this portrait a lot and I like the way he's looking at us from it.
