About under my pier in front of my house...definitely my stomping grounds when i was little. my friends and i were forever exploring the water and secretly jumping off the pier when my parents were not attentive...we thought we were quite cool and sly hehe

Hi girls. Nice shot. I would have cropped the lower part, taking the grass off the picture, thus enphasizing the parallel columns that suport the pier and the tunel they make up. Cheers.

You can just smell the water, and the perspective just zips us through the tunnel to the end. The sharp grasses in the foreground and the hazy trees in back give this a terrific sense of depth. Great!

Great photo. Color really gives off a warm feeling and makes me itch to go fishing. I like how it just pulls at me to look all the way down the pier. Once again Great work.

hehe.. a peice of the morgan puzzle..
this is a beautiful picture. i like the illusion created by looking down the seemingly endless line of posts. similar to a road lined with trees ;) there is definetly some symbolism there.

great picture!

Whoops I hit a key and lost my whole comment (I think), If this double posts forgive me. Anyways.

This is an excellent perspective shot. One gets drawn down the center very easily.

I understand the pier is a little rickety and tilted, but it is a good idea when shooting water to have the horizon line as level as possible. A tilted horizon tends to make the viewer tilt their head a bit initially, and distract from the center of focus.

Great shot reminds me of when I was a child in MI.
