About
...Gets the Buds, in this case:-)! Since worms are not good enough, this common house crow (Corvus splendens) came to feed on the S. campanulata (African tulip, see my previous upload) blooms, just when I was photographing the flowers. This is quite interesting because the legend has it, African hunters are said to have boiled the seeds to extract arrow poison. In India, these beautiful flowering trees are also called Fountain trees.
NIce capture of this bird and beautiful color flowers!
I am curious, are you setting your camera at a low resolution? Or, what are you resizing your photos to? I see you have a good camera, but some of your photos don't look sharp/clear...or possible it's your setting?? Do you use a tripod?
Hope you don't mind my asking!!
You have many nice images in your portfolio, Sudhir!

Wow what a treat... this is so interesting to read about... I think the kinds of plants and flowers you have are amazing... Seems odd the bird would eat the seeds that once boiled become toxic. Very interesting well done...as usal...
Sudhir : the picture is incredible because I know that it is very difficult to come closer to a bird without perturbing its natural chore, it is a little outside of focus but I imagine that you had to take it at distance, but is a great picture. congratulations
