Hi Jeff, A very nice shot, but the colours seem a tad too bleak, if you know what I mean. I took the liberty of increasing the contrast and played with hue and saturation a bit. Maybe its a bit over the top, but I just wanted to show you what I meant. Hope you don't mind...;o) In comparison to the previous ones, I think the composition is a bit centered. Although the view along the bridge towards the horizon is very nice, I think the one taken form the right of the bridge is a tad stronger. Still, the centered composition does work quite well here. I like the colourful calgary skyline, looks great!

Cheers,

Hugo

Hey Jeff ...... As is always ...... Great photograph....... color and perspective .. super. Also .. when you explain the photo .. it's very amusing.... to know who is walking away .. possibly saying something to the fact of "wasting time" .. lololo. .. Love the whole thing.

It looks like it was a beautiful sunny day in Calgary when you took this shot.
Lovely city scape, awesome colours and light.
I like the composition with your wife right in the middle of the image. Hahaha, you made me smile with your comment on this one. I can very well imagine that your wife got tired of waiting for you while taking pics with your new camera.
At the same time, I understand how you felt then, impatient to find out how it worked!
Lovely photo, great mood. It deserve a 7 particularly for the story behind it
Regards - Emgy
