Great photo eye, Rebecca. Many of us would pass by a scene like this without seeing a picture in it, but you did, and came away with an excellent b&w photograph.
Jimmy
P.S. The b&w that Wal-mart sells is mostly Kodak Black & White 400 Film. This film is for developing using C-41 chemicals. The same as for color print film.

I'm sorry Richard.. did not notice you had asked a question. In response, I have to say whatever it is that Wal Mart or Walgreens sell! I can't remember now if it is trimax or just kodak black and white... Until I feel like I've really gotten good at this, I try to stay within my boudaries on spending for film, etc..

Gayle, in this one and several others I used the drop shadow in PS elements. I use several of the frames there. I also use the extensis framing sometimes in PS home edition 3.0, an old version. I haven't mastered PS 6.0 , and don't even try it often. Maybe someday when I have more time to play with it :)

Fantastic B/W of a tree with a lot of character. Love the cloud textures. You should get a shot of this one at night too, it would be even more spooky.

Rebecca,
Wonderful landscape shot, beautiful b\w. I really like how you can see the clouds through the branches. Excellent work!
