Nobody can analyse a photo like you, Emgy, at least nobody I've met so far. Thank you for your comment on my "The red hat" The bright spots near the boy's right eye are caused by the sun shining through the net, part of his hat. I might have removed them in p.s. but I don't think that it would make much of a difference. By the way, you can see the light pentrating through the hat on the right side as well. See attachment. What I like most of all in this portrait is the absolutely lovely expression you captured in thé boy's face and....of course, the red had, which is an eye catcher. Handsome young man with fascinating eyes. I believe that this photo has a pretty low rating so far which is in contrast with the positive reactions you've got. On the other hand, I know that this new rating system is not yet functioning properly This is a beautiful, expressive and well composed portrait. Good background and pretty colours. As to the lighting, I'd like to remark that there is a light spot on the right part of the boy's face, which detracts from the image. Either than this,everything is=-n this portrait is very good.
