Jeroen,
I'll try to do some Angkor stuff soon. But I only get three posts a day, and I have so many good kid pics. Maybe next week...

Jeroen --
I do spend a lot of time there. I'm on the board of a non-profit org with two orphanages, a school, medical and dental clinics and some university student residential centers.
So, most of these kids know me by name; I've picked them up and played duck duck goose with them, and I've comforted them when they had to have teeth pulled or had immunization injections.
I love them like my own kids (who were adopted from Asia, by the way), and I think it helps.
Now, a few of the kids were ones I met on the street, but I try to build up a rapport before I shoot.
John

John,
my last comment for now; it's remarkable how close you get with the kids on your pics and the way they smile, so relaxed and open. You seem to be in Cambodia a lot and not just as someone who passes by.
BTW, when will you post some Angkor images, I'm curious to see.
Regards,
Jeroen

Yeah, I thought about taking out the hot spots.
I'm either lazy, or really princlpled, 'cause I hate using photoshop to make corrections, per se.
I use the heck out of it do color and contrast corrections, but I'm not a fan of cloning my personal stuff, because I have to do it all dang day to take ugly blemishes off my clients' pics.
Or maybe I'm just lazy.
Thanks for the comment.

Beautiful tight crop and shallow dof. Looks to be a couple of hot spots on her face, but they don't detract from her sweet expression and sparkling eyes.
