I like this a lot, Jeanette! Warm tones, but spooky atmosphere - especially with the shadow of the branch (?) coming in on the left! I kind of like the way the shadow looses definition and focus as it spreads out away from the source... given your title, I think I could read a lot of symbolism into that!
