I think as you get to know your new camera you will really start having some serious fun. I think its a good picture I might turn it on its side perhaps crop it a bit tighter. I think your doing GREAT!! It is also fun to see what others would do with the same shot ...How many different looks we all see is amazing!!!

Hi Arwa, very nice capture.. and congrats for ur new D70.. i think Saeed did good job for cropping the frame, becuase the white flare on the top left was bothering the sence. good DOF and angel. i didnt shot plants much but i sow one good photogrpaher was doing one nice trick to reflect sunlight over his object which u can try it too. bring one tough paper of crate and cover one side of it with foil paper (which we use it on the kitchen to cover hot stuff) u know what i mean? then use the crate to reflect sunlight over ur roses or flowers from any side u wish :) it really brings great results for clear, sharp, bright objects with darker green backgrounds. very good Arwa and keep up.

Am again, Arwa
Actually the top left spot is "annoying" and does not worth to be there!I did crop it, to balance the composition I had to crop right side a bit, the frame I just played a 3D,but it is personal choice, Saeed

Hi Arwa, thanks for comments on my pics. Please try to fill in focal length, shutter speed and aperture settings (which you should find in your viewer under properties as most digitals save this info in the jpeg), to enable us to analyse your pictures more accurately. Great to see you using your new camera to good effect! Robert
