I envy you, really. For what, I can't say. Was it for your travels or for your great eyes? I like this one very much, to my favorites 7+

Hi David, I use Adobe CS. This is what I do -

1.Reduce the image to 800/800 for usefilm size.
2.Image > canvas size > choose 'black' color for fill > size 2 mm (Gives you inner small black border)
3.Image > canvas size > choose 'grey' color for fill > size 7 mm - (Gives you outer greyish white border)
4.Control J(gives you a new layer by copy) > Layer > Layer styles > bewell or emboss > Embose/hard chissil (this will embose the greyish white canvas)
5.Control J(gives you new layer by copy of the embossed layer)
6.Image > canvas size > choose 'black' color for fill > size 0.5 inches(Note other two were milimeters).
Then save the TOP MOST LAYER in the layers pallette for web(This is the layer with all the canvas colors added on to it)

Please write to me if you have any problems.
Good luck,
ken.

Yes I have Adobe PS. Look forward to receiving your instructions. Framing certainly helps these electonic images.

thanks,

David

Hi David, Thank you for commting.
Framing - its a tedious and long process in Adobe PS. If you have Adobe please write to me back. I will expain in detail.
Regards, ken.

Lovely landscape. Tend to aggree with the cropping suggested by Hugo. How do you do the frame? I would like to that to some of my own photos.

Great. I love the triangular patter between the boats and the trees. Lou

Thank you Hugo, I could see your point. It works better to emphasize the boats and trees.

Hi ken, I like the curve from the boat in front to the next, ending in the trees on that toungue of land. It creates a good tension in what probably would've been a static image otherwise. The calm atmosphere is perfectly captured. Although I can't quite put my finger on it, I feel something is missing, though. There seems to be a slight unbalance in the photo. Not sure if it's any better, but I cropped the image a bit, just to see what happened to the composition and atmosphere. What do you think?

Cheers,

Hugo

Tranquillity is my sensation. The photo has been realized very well with the boats on the right side just to drive our eyes on the left side where there are some trees and all the composition has a depht harmony exalted by the soft tones.
