About	Since many have taken amazing pictures of Anthuriums at UFC.com, I shot this on the deck of my gardening guru. I wanted to capture the play of light as a shadow on the weathering wood painted green. This fascinating tropical flowering plant is often associated with island resorts like Hawaii & Mauritius for instance. Good shot in nice colour with excellent reflection. Think though the focus is too soft. Also I think I would make a tighter crop to concentrate more on the flower and remove the blemishes in the wall.

I like the color contrast between the red and green , but the highlights are to washed out and overexposed. I do like the shadow ,but the light is rather harsh.
