Thanks guys. I agree that the horizon is really tilted. I'll try this shot again one day - maybe I'll even be brave enough to stand in the middle of the road. I corrected the horizon in PS to see what it would have looked like. Actually I like the square crop of Teunis I think best. The practical problem with this shot is that the camera (and lens) is resting on the pavement, and there really isn't enough room to get my eyes into the view finder. It was a tradeoff here - because of the wide angle distortion, I had a choice of either putting the line down the center of the image or straightening the horizon.

But I agree with the critiques. Thanks again folks.

Great photo, you had a very good idea. But I have to admint that I agree with Teunis about the horizon. It is still a great shoot.
