Twenty years ago my husband and I took our one and only trip to Europe. We went just to see Carl Larsson's home and studio in beautiful Sweden. This image has brought back so many happy memories. I remember many small communities with all of the homes painted this amazing red with white trim. Anyway, that's how I remember it. Your photo will be a favorite for a very long time.

i like vivid colours .. and the contrast in colours here's wonderful!
i would have loved to see the door partially open with a child's head sticking out and looking at your camera .. just go back to the photo and imagine that.

You have a mighty great portfolio and sincerely I don't know how and from where to start commenting you.
There isn't a single flaw in your photos,your technique is perfect and extremely " clear",no visible artifacts or graphisms,just marvelous pictures made from a really skilled photographer.Let me congratulate you and it is with much pleasure that I will be adding you in my friends'list in order to learn from you.

I love this Kris! If the sign says "pub" then it totally perfect. HaHa. The red is great, but I'm more impressed by the building designs and especially the cobblestone street, walk, & rain gutters. The first thing I notice, is the differnce from one part to the other. Just look at how much older the section to the right is than the left. Look closely at the corner joint to the right of the door. See how it is notched so each board is securely fitted into the other! This thing could stand for centuries. Also the quality of the shutters is superior with the diagonal lines added for strength againt storms. Your homeland is certainly known here in US for just this kind of meticulous fine craftsmanship. It's fairly rare to find such integrity of building design and functionality here. BUT, we do have a cobblestone riverfront here on the Mighty Muddy Mississippi River. I must get downtown & shoot some pix of it for you soon. Really great shot! Love it Love it Love it. Regards, George :-E)
