Great shot, angle and title:-)!! The shrubbery is distractive because they are weeds and do not belong to this Yucca species of Xerophyte (originally a desert plant, now very ornamental).

Great photo Joann, we had one of those cactus in our garden in Cyprus. It claimed 22 soccer balls (punctured) and I was forever "despiking" it - I was paranoid that one of the children would fall on it :-( But when it flowered it looked fantastic .... but smelled awful !
