Hi Marty,
it does not look too dark to me, at all...very rich and intense in tones, instead. I have wandered around your portfolio for a while now, and will come back again...of all the images I have seen I have chosen this one, which, at least to me, conveys a unique inner strenght. the richness of the mid and dark tones, the composition and its half-desolate half-ironic mood are just awesome: i am truly fascinated by it.

thanks a lot for stepping by my portfolio, your comment is flattering and sincerely appreciated.

ciao,
am

I see alot of your comments are directed to "Marty", so I assume that is your name? Anyway, this shows to be a little dark on my monitor as well. I always seem to lose a lot of contrast tho when lightening in PhotoShop. And this picture does show alot of contrast, (detail?) so...
