Christian, I'm sorry to hear about the health problem. I hope everything turns out well.

Matej, it will require a new scan. I can see what you mean and I have tried working with the curves to boost the vividness. It may be a case where the colour version is better. I will do the rescan and email the file to you. It may take a little time, due to a severe health problem in the family.

Christian, I like the scene you have captured here - the moment of attempted contact, trying to break through the spatial and mental separation, in a setting that is rather nice. I agree sharper focus would have been preferable. There's something about the tonality that doesn't quite work for me - it feels sort of heavy. It might be the dreaded monitor effect once again - I suspect your screen is brighter than mine - but still, could you attach the original colour shot, so that I could play with it a bit?

WOW I like that tense in this photo. Well, don't know how to express that in proper English, but I hope you know what I mean. Like if she's going to look up any moment and meet his eyes. Sharpness or lack of it doesn't bother me, I rather think that bit unsharpness is very suitable here.

Maybe you should bring out some more of your older stuff. This is a great shot. This photo does not have to be sharp to be effective. Day off Mon Ami?
