This is the kind of compostion that you'll find in chinese paintings - very harmonious and not too cluttered. Good use of large f-stop for blurry background. Congrats.

Yes, it's that season again. Can't come too soon for me. It goes well with the other one of this pair. They should hang together on a wall where pale winter sunlight would just touch them and remind you of spring through the dark days.

Hi Antonella, First of all, thanks alot for your recent constructive comments. They are greatly appreciated! I agree with you on the sharpness. I've a feeling my scanner is dying on me, the quality of it's output is not what I would've liked it to be....:(
Beautiful shot, very well composed, and, as others have mentioned, a very good Depth of Field. The lighting and subtlety of the colours is excellent. Nice composition, a bit centered, but none the less very dynamic. The repetition of tones in the background emphasise the mood of spring very well. My compliments!
