Superb! Even at the greyscale, the contrast and the quality are so good that the photo looks PERFECT! Even in B&W, the perfection makes me imagine the colours very easily!

I have not been able to see the color Mr. Duarte alludes to, but I do like the b+w image I see. We usually think we have to use the entire gamut of tones from black to white, but this proves that a fine picture can have a limited tonal range.

The restaurant in Berkeley is on the upper floor of the Durant Cafe, on the other side of Durant Hotel, one block away from Campus half a block uphill from Telegraph Ave. I will be posting the originaL photo that I took before conversion.
