Hi Matej, I have another version of this one with a slightly different pose, since I also noticed the foot-issue. I will post it here later on. As for the way she looks: she did that on her own. Actually, even though it was only her second time in front of the lens, she was a natural born poser.

I can see there are some elements in the background that you wouldn't want to crop in just any way, but I think with the model being the main subject here the there's too much headroom, especially considering the fact that her foot didn't make it into the frame. Not sure how I feel about her other foot hidden behind the bush, but at least it's technically fully in the frame. On the other hand, I've noticed in some ads that they do often crop bits of people off, probably to focus attention on the product, so maybe in the fashion world it's not seen as a problem. You've put this into the People category, but I see it (and also Els 1) more as a Fashion photo. At this point I suspect my comment is getting somewhat incoherent, sorry about that :-) I like her candid-like pose here; did you tell her to look to the side, or did she do that on her own and it really was a candid take?

Bjorn,

Congrats with your outdoor photo shoot!
Nice natural pose!
Maybe crop a bit more around the model.

Regards
Kurt
