What film did you use for this? I really like the tone and detail. I'm going back to TX to see my new niece, and I'd like to shoot some B&W. By the way, this is a beautiful photo. I really like how the hair falls in front of her face. Nice pose.

I think what is best about this photo is that it is natural. This young woman does not look like a model and I think you captured the realness of her ( I don't think realness is a word, but you know what I mean) I like the way her hair is in her face and the eye makeup. This doesn't look like a fake made up photo that would require changing this or changing that -- it is reality. Maybe it was a set-up shot, but I still like that it looks like a natural shot just caught.

I hate it, please change everything here. Ha, just kidding. Sorry...not the place to be a smart mouth. Really it is wonderful. There is such emotion. I usually like photographs that show more of a person's face, but this is very eye-catching with the photo cropped the way it is, whether it was cropped with the camera or otherwise.

I give this advice a lot: I prefer no title because it makes people think more about the photo they are looking at. besides that, this photo is brilliant. the diagonal, the expression, the hair... everything.

I'll add this one as a favorite. If her eyes were more open, it would be a more conventional portrait; however the closed eyes add mystery. The ultra closeup and odd angle, cutoff upper eye makes it an unusual view, worth remembering. Lines point to that upper left eye, and if you included more of that, the viewer's eye would be pulled off the main subject at the right cheek. I like the sharp detail in her right malar area, also a little unconventional for this kind of portrait.

I think this is an all around great portrait. I love the crop and i have not problem with the eye or the hair.. in fact I quite like the way the hair is playing with the face.

I really like the soft light of this. Not sure how I feel about the hairs curling around her nose. I think they're a bit distracting. I'd prefer to see this without any eye makeup on as her skin looks great.

This is a very nice image. The cropping works very well with this image. I belive that your intentions were to make this a somewhat dark image, but would like to see a little more information in her left eye. Right now it is just a black hole. But that is a minor detail. Overall, this image is very strong and has a lot of power.
