I usually don't like "creative" filters, but it works great on this image. The colors, the diagonal, and the exposure bring your eye in and hold it. Great job!
Marc, maybe it works better for right handed people or those of us who read from left to right ? But, I have tried, for me, your flip works well.

Creative, beautiful colors, original composition... can't be a bad mix...:-) If I had a suggestion, it would be a stupid one: have you tried simply flipping the image horizontally...? cheers.
